Snow

So much snow! It started snowing last night and hasn't stopped since! And it got me off school :)
According to Dad, some people last night had to stop driving it was so bad, so the council put up temporary shelters for them. This is the second time it's snowed significantly this winter, the first time being in December, which I can't believe. Snow! Before Christmas! It closed all the schools in the area, except mine. :( But this time even my school is closed. Snow is my new best friend! Out of my window, all the trees are coated with a layer of white. It's very pretty, especially the feathery trees. It's still snowing quite heavily!
Iga, my Polish friend, doesn't see why everyone is so obsessive about the snow here in the UK. But it's sooo pretty! Anyways, they have heavy snow every year, so they can plan ahead for it.
Wow! We have a massive tree in our garden, a holmoake, I think it's spelt, and a really big branch just fell off of it due to all the snow. It's native to warmer countries, so I guess it's not used to that much additional weight. The other trees seem OK though.
