Script Frenzy

So, I don't know how many of you know about it, but there's this thing called script frenzy. Essentially, you write a 100-page script in April.
Guess what I've done~
And just in case you were wondering... no, the script is never going to go on the internet as it is. It's a pile of dog poo, seriously.

Why is it that for Hurst, holiday = revision?
I mean, in the half term it was for mocks, and now it's for the actual thing!
Sure, I get that it'll be good for my exams, and I realise most non-lazy people are revising this holiday, but I miss being able to just lounge around for the day, y'know?
Well, I'm doing it today... but this is because I'm ill, and can't focus on reading stuff for too long. And my throat hurts. And my lungs hurt. And my head's stuffed with tissues. And every time I get up, I feel all dizzy... yaaay, being ill.

Two posts in a day! I know! What's the world coming to? An end, clearly.
Because, you see, my mother - my mother - has shown me something on blogger.com, namely how to see how many people have read your blog posts. And, more interestingly, where they come from.

Now, I'd just assumed that the people who read these things are my friends in the UK (you know who you are) but apparently not. No, apparently, the place most of the people who read these things are from is the US. Well alright, that's not so bad... 189 pageviews from the US?? SERIOUSLY??? Okay, still not so bad, I guess. I mean, that's hardly a majority of people, is it?
But there are people from the US who've read this blog, people from the UK (well, I knew that, but I didn't think there were that many of you!), people from India, Belgium, Japan, China, France, Russia, Malaysia and Slovenia.

So now, I just have one thing to ask you: why? Are my ramblings really of merit? Okay, two things I have to ask you. Why do you read my blog, and are my ramblings really of merit, and do you really read the posts, or just stumble across them by accident and then leave? ...Damn. Right. Three things. Why do you read my blog, are my ramblings really of merit, and do you actually read the posts, and why do none of you ever comment?... Can I come it again? I'm going to come in again.

But seriously, that last question. What, 4 different people have commented? And I know all 4 of them. Don't be shy, multitudes of Americans! I don't bite! Say hi next time, please?

Mood

Isn't it odd, how peoples' moods seem to be tied in with the weather? It's been really grotty for a few days, and I was slightly down-in-the-dumps... especially with all the revision I've been doing so far in the holidays.

But today it's sunny, and I actually feel quite cheerful. Sure, I spent the morning and a good chunk of the afternoon revising core 2 maths, but I also played the Star Wars theme a couple (of dozen) times on the piano, I'm getting better at the guitar (slowly. Very slowly.) and the sky is just so darn pretty!
